Creature Size

Creatures have a Size category that determines the physical space they take up in the world and on a grid if using one. Depending on the Size, some Creatures may even be able to exist in the same Space: A creature two sizes smaller than another creature may exist within the same space.

Tiny

  • Volume: 1 Foot by 1 Foot in volume or smaller, such as Gremlins, Pixies, or small beasts.
  • Space: Can enter the Space of any Creature.

Small

  • Volume: 3 Feet by 3 Feet in volume or smaller, such as the Shorties Ancestries.
  • Space: One Square on a Grid.

Medium

  • Volume: 9 Feet by 9 Feet in volume or smaller, such as the majority of Ancestries up to Horses.
  • Space: One Square on a Grid. Only Tiny Creatures may exist in the same Square.

Large

  • Volume: 10 Feet by 10 Feet in volume or greater, such as the Ogre or Troll Ancestries, a Gryphin, or a Young Dragon.
  • Space: Two by Two Squares with a Two Square Height.

Huge

  • Volume: 15 Feet by 15 Feet in volume or greater, such as the Giant or Adult Dragon.
  • Space: Three by Three Squares with a Three Square Height.

Gargantuan

  • Volume: 20 Feet by 20 Feet in volume or greater, such as truly massive Creatures like Ancient Dragons and Behemoths.
  • Space: Four by Four Squares with a Four Square Height or larger.
