Skill Maneuvers

Skill Maneuvers are special abilities that utilize a character's non-combat skills in combat situations. These maneuvers allow characters to apply their expertise in various skills to gain tactical advantages or provide utility during combat.

Skill Maneuvers are executed against a creature's Avoid Roll or as a Skill Challenge, depending on the specific maneuver. Their success is determined by the character's relevant skill proficiency.

Special Skill Maneuver Rules

  • Skill Challenge Integration: Some Skill Maneuvers require a Skill Challenge roll instead of targeting an Avoid Roll.
  • Proficiency Requirements: Skill Maneuvers require specific proficiencies to use effectively.
  • Resource Costs: Most Skill Maneuvers cost Stamina or Mana to use, though some have no cost.
  • Timing: Skill Maneuvers can be used during your turn, in addition to other actions.
